PHOTOGRAPHY

- MULTIPLE LOCATIONS -

ETSAB, RESEARCH

As architects, we are told how to read a building. Thanks to our lengthy education we can design, understand and imagine a building or space by using plans. To us they are an essential tool, but to the vast majority of the population a photograph will provide better understanding of the building and space. As it portrays what the human eye can observe, and not the coded abstraction that many plans can be.

For my research project during the last year of my degree I dove into the perception of architecture through photography, describing and analysing what resources to depict a space are inside a camera.
