UTER
BARCELONA
ETSAB, URBANISME III, 2016
Collab. Martí Campabadal, Sergi Caralt
Santa Eulàlia, Sant Josep and Collblanc are neighbourhoods in the outskirts of Barcelona, currently divided by two train tracks which prohibit the pedestrian commute between the three. Uter is a network of elevated walkways and bridges that organically grows to connect a series of parks and public facilities which are geographically close but isolated from one another.
To overcome the height difference between the different points to connect, the bridges use existing buildings roof’s as departure points.
