YSLA & NENDO DESIGN, 2017

 

While working as an intern for YSLA, we collaborated with the Japanese firm Nendo Designs to realise a masterplan for the village of Caotang, located in China. 
This small deserted village had once been a thriving agrarian community, and the objective of the masterplan was to transform the landscape and use some of the existing buildings to transform the area into a creative space for artists and local artisans.
