Lighthouse Tokyo is a nine story building which was designed as a hotel in the neighbourhood of Shinjuku, Tokyo,  and has been delivered as a residence building due to the impact of the COVID-19 in the Tokyo tourism business. 
The facade was conceived as a concrete levitating sheet, erasing the boundaries between interior and exterior, public and private and opening to the street intersection through two round cuts inviting people in from every direction. Creating a lighthouse for travellers.
